Nancy Johnson is the LCRP Executive Director/Administrator and Lead Administrator for the NCCCP. Ms. Johnson adds over 25 years career experience in the field of cancer services with the past fifteen years managing service lines in excess of 100 million dollars in annual revenues. She has a proven track record of managing costs, building infrastructure, and obtaining physician buy-in and support for cancer center initiatives. She has successfully secured philanthropic and foundation funding to support the ongoing demands of a community cancer center that provides access to care for all. She has a history of building innovative and collaborative community projects that reach uninsured and disadvantaged populations. She serves on the Steering Committee for the State of Georgia Cancer Control Plan. Ms. Johnson has lead work teams in the development of programs and services that reduce the burdens for disparate populations and provide access to screening and treatment programs. For example, Ms. Johnson was the founding board president of the local Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen, Coastal Georgia. She served on the board for the initial two years to establish fundraising and grants distribution processes; also, served as the founding board president for the West Georgia Cancer Coalition, a grassroots initiative to increase access to care for residents surrounding Columbus, GA. She secured funds to provide a primary care physician for cancer screenings throughout the rural communities in West Georgia and currently serves as the Disparities Co-Chair for NCCCP. The experience and expertise of Ms. Johnson will contribute to the successful functioning of the Executive Committee.
